Digital Privacy: Why Shepherd's Stream Prioritizes Your Ministry’s Integrity

At Shepherd's Stream, our mission is to glorify the Lord and fulfill the Great Commission by equipping Church leadership with the tools they need to reach the lost in a digital age. We believe that honoring the individuals who visit our platform is a vital part of that mission, which is why we treat digital privacy as a sacred trust rather than a mere legal requirement. In an era where "big tech" often tracks every movement for profit, we believe a digital ministry should be a "city on a hill"—a place of refuge and trust where seekers and saints alike can explore spiritual resources without being "shadowed" by invasive tracking cookies or data-mining algorithms.

To honor this commitment, we utilize Fathom Analytics to provide our ministry partners with high-integrity dashboard statistics through a philosophy of "Anonymity by Design." This approach allows us to understand traffic trends and reach the lost without ever tracking the individual person, ensuring that a visitor's identity remains known only to the Lord. Because we reject invasive tracking technology, we provide a clean, respectful user experience that eliminates the need for annoying "Cookie Banners" or intrusive pop-up consent forms. This lightweight, privacy-first script also ensures that church profiles and sermons load instantly, providing a high-performance experience for your community, even on slower connections.

By prioritizing privacy, Shepherd’s Stream ensures your ministry remains fully compliant with modern global standards—including GDPR, CCPA, and ePrivacy—without requiring you to hire a legal team to manage data consent. We believe that a seeker’s interest in the Gospel is a private matter between them and the Lord, and our analytics are designed to honor that sacred boundary. As we manage our directory of over 240,000 ministry records, we view this data solely as a map for connection and a tool for the Kingdom, ensuring your church’s digital presence remains a safe and secure environment for everyone you serve.

Equipping Pastors, Connecting Flocks - Shepherd’s Stream is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the physical gathering of the local church. We believe technology should never replace embodied fellowship; rather, it should serve as a bridge to connect the lost with local pastors and faithful congregations. To remove financial barriers to ministry, our digital infrastructure is provided entirely free of charge.

Built on a strict privacy-first foundation, our tools never track, monetize, or sell your ministry’s data. Whether you are a seeker looking for a faithful body of believers or a pastor seeking tools to nourish and lead your congregation, Shepherd’s Stream provides enterprise-grade infrastructure designed with one primary goal: leading people into the physical assembly of the saints.

Our Core Commitments

• 100% Free Forever: Zero subscription fees, bandwidth charges, or hidden paywalls.

• Embodied Over Virtual: Technology that points toward the Sunday assembly, never replacing it.

• Privacy-First: No behavioral tracking, user profiling, or selling of congregational data.

The Church Geolocator: Connecting Seekers to Local Assemblies

At the core of our platform is the Church Geolocator—an expansive, custom-mapped directory of more than 230,000 geocoded congregations.

Shepherd’s Staffing: Kingdom-Focused Ministry Placement

Finding doctrinally aligned pastors, associate ministers, and ministry staff is essential to the health of the local church. Unlike expensive secular boards that ignore theological fidelity, Shepherd’s Staffing provides a dedicated, faith-centered platform connecting congregations directly with qualified, called servants. Whether your church is searching for a senior pastor, worship leader, administrative staff, or key volunteers, candidates can review your church’s doctrinal distinctives upfront and apply straight to your leadership without third-party middlemen.

To keep hiring accessible for churches of all sizes, we eliminate costly monthly retainers and restrictive 30-day timers. For a nominal, one-time fee of just $7, your church receives 6 full months of active placement on the job board, giving your search committee the time and flexibility needed to pray, vet, and call the right laborer to the field.

The Shepherd’s Stream Marketplace: "The Laborer is Worthy of His Hire"

For many pastors, authors, and musicians, self-publishing and resource distribution are vital parts of their ministry calling. However, secular platforms often claim an unfair share of their earnings. The Shepherd’s Stream Marketplace is an integrated, multi-vendor e-commerce platform built to equip Christian creators with online storefronts that reach believers while protecting their income.

• Creators Retain 93% of Revenue: Shepherd’s Stream takes a flat 7% total commission per sale. This single, transparent fee completely covers all Stripe credit card processing costs (2.9% + 30¢), with zero hidden platform charges.

• Secured by Stripe Connect: Onboarding occurs entirely on Stripe’s encrypted servers. Vendors manage orders through an intuitive dashboard and receive automatic, dependable direct payouts every 7 days.

Local Outreach Marketing & The Sanctuary Marketplace

Digital tools are most effective when they bridge the gap into physical neighborhood reality. Through our completely free Customized QR Code Integration, any claimed church can generate and download a unique QR code directly within the Members Area under My Marketing. Acting as a digital portal on your outdoor signage, welcome banners, or metal business cards, these scannable codes link passersby, visitors, and neighbors instantly to your church profile—giving them direct access to your service times, doctrines, location, and sermon archives with no typing or searching required.

By combining this free technology with our physical outreach collateral, traditional print materials transform into dynamic entryways for ministry:

• Door Hangers: Front-door evangelism tools designed for personal, neighborhood visitation.

• Church Brochures: An unfolding invitation detailing your church’s doctrine, service times, and ministries.

• Outreach Flyers: High-impact promotional materials for seasonal events, conferences, and community gatherings.

• Rack Cards: Clean, modern welcome and informational cards for visitors and hospitality tables.

• My Marketing Dashboard: Manage outreach campaigns, download your custom church QR codes, and tailor physical print collateral from a single command center.
